The song was also covered by many artist most notably by Kathy Troccoli (1994), R&B and soul legend Patti LaBelle (2000), Tommy Shane Steiner (2002), where it reached #43 on US Hot Country songs, and Filipino acoustic band MYMP (2005) where it became an acoustic hit in the Philippines.
